The word: ascend means to move or rise upwards. Its Latin root: ascendere/scandere means to climb. In Christian belief, the word ascension is used to describe Yeshua’s,(Jesus), being taken up into heaven following his death and resurrection. It was an important devotional subject reflected in the religious thinking and expressed in much of the artwork in the Renaissance and Baroque periods in Christian Europe. The New Age movement has taken the usage of this word from its Christian origins and applied it to the shift in consciousness occurring at this time upon the earth.

The use of the word ascension in association with the changes occurring on earth at this pivotal time is extremely naive and misleading. On a psychological level, it energetically reflects the three year old child who is waiting for his mother or father to pick him up after he falls. The very dynamic of moving above something indicates the need to psychologically remove oneself from uncomfortable feelings…to have someone else “make it better”…which really means to remove oneself from taking responsibility for oneself.

Utilizing the word ascension in association with humanity’s awakening process at this time is like saying: “Let me rise up above all of this refuse and remove myself from it.”…instead of …”Let me stay here with this refuse and become conscious through it”. The “just throw away the garbage consciousness” present in the world today resonates well with this esoteric interpretation for the global shift in consciousness we are experiencing. This ascension concept was “Made in America” along with our decades-long “throw-it-all-away” life style.

It is imperative to realize that we are in a period of time on the earth like no other. We are all being given the opportunity to open ourselves to the deepest regions and highest potentials of human consciousness. To do this we have to know ourselves. This could be called “recycling the refuse” or in other words healing the attached emotions and beliefs that stem from our ancestors and from our own experiences with life. Through doing this we discover that hiding behind these experiences are the doorways of awareness. Awareness reconnects us with our indigenous souls… with our collectivity….with the earth…with the universe…with the divine. Through spiritual awareness our individual consciousness is given the opportunity to evolve into a more encompassing or global consciousness. Global consciousness is the result of healing not only ourselves but in a domino effect we also heal our relationship with others, our relationship with life and above all our relationship with this amazing planet we call our home…earth.

To do this we have to recognize that our experiences in life, whether good or bad have been our teachers all along. Our not taking responsibility for the teacher’s lessons is what has caused the chaos not only in our minds or in our physical bodies in the form of illnesses but also it has caused the chaos experienced in the world today. These things are our teachers. The solution is not found in leaving the lessons behind…but in taking them on and changing our perceptions of them through compassion. This is the alchemy of wisdom. It is attained through conscious experience with life. This is what true healing is about and only you can do this for yourself._

At “the end of days” are the good people going to float miraculously up towards heaven leaving all the bad people behind? Are the aliens going to come and beam us up into their safe ships and then clean up the mess we made of this planet? Think about this. What is the source of such ideas? This is not taking responsibility…this is running from it. If you can honestly say that these concepts are coming from your deepest knowing then maybe you are to believe them.

I for one want to be here with all that I am during this extraordinary time. It would be a tragedy for me not to do this. I would waste an opportunity for spiritual growth of unimaginable proportions. At this period in time human consciousness is being given the opportunity to evolve into its fullest potential. It is already in progress. Will there be dramatic earth changes? Yes. Will we be having contact with extraterrestrials in our lifetime? Yes. But these things should not be in the forefront of the internal changes we have to make now in order to attain this paradigm shift in consciousness.

We are not being asked to move upwards to a higher place, we are being given the opportunity to move inwards to an extraordinary place of awareness. This inward movement leads to the heart. It is the divine consciousness humanity was designed for. The very survival of the human species on this earth depends upon our ability to awaken to this place. It is up to us…individually and collectively. It is that important. It is time.

現在、人間性の覚醒に関連して、アセンションという言葉を使用することは、丁度「私をこの廃物のすべて上で上昇して、それから立ち退かせてください。」というようなもので、本来は、「私にここにこの廃物に滞在して、それを通して意識するようにならせてください。」とすべきでしょう世界での「ただゴミ意識を無駄にしてください」というプレゼントは今日、私たちが経験している意識におけるグローバルなシフトのためのこの難解な解釈によく共鳴します。このアセンションのコンセプトは、我々の10年に及ぶ「捨ててしまえ」式生活態度とともにある「アメリカ製」です。

私たちが現在比類の無い地球の期間にいると認識するのは必須です。私たちは全て、人間の意識の最も深い領域と最も高い可能性に自分達を開く機会を与えられています。 これをするために、私たちは己を知らなければなりません。 これは「廃物を再生する」とか、または言い換えれば、私たちの先祖や人生の私たち自身の経験に由来する付属感情と信念を癒すことと云えるかもしれません。
